When you create a new project, 'everything' (build instructions and photo thumbnails) is initially 'held in RAM'. The original photo creation dates are preserved, so, in theory, you could 'back track' to your own Photo Archive (although searching the creation dates of 100,000 photos could take a while unless you archive your photos in date order (like I do :-) )
